cranberries-- yummmmmmy!

it is the holiday season

and i have SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much

that i am grateful for

 

and so i am going to share the love

and this amazing, quick and easy recipe for

cranberry sauce that i made up

that was SUPER ROCKIN'!

 

 

i mean, of course I would say that

but everyone else thought so, too

 

so, in your saucepan over medium high heat,

stir together

1/2 c of brown sugar

1/2 c sugar

1/2 c orange juice

1/2 c bourbon

and heat and stir till it bubbles

then add

1 bag fresh cranberries

lower the heat to medium and stir

until the cranberries pop

then add

1/2 c unsweetened applesauce

1 quart of fresh raspberries

and stir until it thickens

 

remove from heat,

serve warm or let it cool

 

either way, mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

super delish!
